The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Riad Malki, stressed the importance of the open session of the Security Council, which will be held on the 26th of this month, to discuss the situation in the Middle East, especially the Palestinian issue. Malki said that the session will be held under the chairmanship of Tunisia, which will play an important role in addressing the Palestinian issue. The session will be held after the inauguration of President Joe Biden, where the new representative of the United States will be heard about the US role in reviving the peace process, following a call by President Mahmoud Abbas to hold an international conference for peace, Malki added.
