The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the ongoing raids on al-Aqsa Mosque compound by the occupation forces, police, and extremist settlers. This action affirms that the occupation state is still committed to its Judaizing project of the Mosque. The Ministry also condemned the occupation’s suffocating actions and blockade on Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and the repression and arrest of its families and the people who show solidarity with them. It also condemned the collective arrest campaigns the Israeli forces committed against Jerusalemites, Islamic endowment (Waqf) employees, and the al-Aqsa Mosque guards. The Ministry held the occupation forces fully responsible for these raids, for blockading Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and for the arrests and restrictions imposed by the occupation forces on Jerusalemites and their lives. It called on the international community to fulfil its legal and moral obligations towards the occupation crimes and violations that it systematically commits against the Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
