The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates (MOFAE) condemned the announcement by the Israeli municipality in Jerusalem of a colonial project establishing a biblical garden for settlers on the roofs of historic markets in Jerusalem, which includes planting trees and placing entertainment games for settlers to change the appearance of the roofs of those markets. The Ministry explained that this comes within the framework of a policy aimed at falsifying the landmarks of Jerusalem and its old town and besieging Al-Aqsa Mosque, in a clear disregard for the Islamic Endowment Department.
