The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates (MOFAE) said that the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation and its settlers against the Palestinian people, their land and holy sites constitute a flagrant challenge to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and its investigations, and an official Israeli disregard for the international system, its legitimacy and decisions. In addition, the ministry considered the Israeli crimes an insistence on deepening the occupation, settlement and apartheid regime in the occupied Palestinian territories and systematically undermining the possibility to establish a viable, sovereign, and geographically connected Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. The Ministry affirmed that it continues to fully cooperate with the International Criminal Court in order to hold the Israeli war criminals accountable. For further details, click here
