The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the international disregard for the policies of the Israeli occupation represented in the escalation of settlements, annexation, demolition of Palestinian homes and facilities, expulsion and displacement of citizens, constitutes a cover to protect the occupation from accountability and eliminates the opportunity for a two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. The ministry added that some countries ’abandonment of their legal and moral responsibilities calls into question their credibility concerning finding a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
