Palestinian Minister of National Economy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Industrial Estates and Free Industrial Zones, announced on Thursday, July 23, that the State of Palestine joined the World Free Zones Organization.
This came during the organization’s annual conference, which was attended by representatives of 37 countries via video conference with the participation of the Palestinian Industrial Estates Authority, a representative of the State of Palestine.
The head of the organization, Mohamed Al-Zarouni, who chaired the conference from the headquarters of the international organization in Dubai, considered that joining Palestine is an essential step towards supporting it and enabling it to obtain its rights guaranteed by international law.
