In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club (PPC) said that difficult conditions were threatening the lives of prisoners in “Raymond Jail,” which is witnessing an increase in the number of COVID-19 infections. According to the PPC, the majority of those infected suffer from moderate to difficult health conditions, as they are isolated by the Prison Service in the section of 8 in tragic conditions without providing minimum health care. PPC has called the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Red Cross for an impartial medical committee to oversee and monitor the health conditions of prisoners.
