Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh condemned what he called organized settler terrorism, which targets the movement of Palestinians on the main roads in the West Bank. Shtayyeh called on the new US administration to condemn these attacks, to take urgent measures to curb the settlement expansion that has accelerated recently, and to work to implement the UN Resolution No. 2334, which condemned the settlements and demanded to stop it as undermining the two-state solution. Shtayyeh called on the United Nations to work to protect the Palestinian people, calling on the international community to list the settlers involved in these terrorist acts on travel bans and not allow them to travel between world capitals.
