The Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, said that the UN Security Council will hold a session next Thursday (24 June) to follow up on the implementation of resolution 2334 on settlements, and ongoing Israeli violations on the ground, including the demolition of homes and the displacement of citizens in occupied Jerusalem, through the report of the Secretary-General. In addition, Mansour said that the Council of Arab Ambassadors will hold a meeting next Monday (June 21), to implement what was agreed upon at the meeting of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers in the State of Qatar, to ensure the effectiveness of the efforts of the Arab group to support Jerusalem and stop the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinians, through communicating with the international community and human rights institutions.
