Researchers Tri Mahwati and Ana Risma Nanda published an article in the International Law Discourse in Southeast Asia Journal, Volume 1, Issue 1 of 2022, titled: “Analysis of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the Perspective of International Humanitarian Law.” This article provides an analysis of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict through the lens of International Humanitarian Law. It emphasizes that Israel has violated several human rights in Palestine but one of the main ones addressed is those against civilians. The study confirms that an optimal way to provide protection to civilians in times of conflict is through referring to international humanitarian law and ensures that civilians are subject to protection at all times during armed conflict.
