Saleh Raafat, a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, condemned the approval of the Israeli Ministry of Communications to open four bypass roads in favor of settlements in the occupied West Bank, as well as the decision of the Israeli District Planning and Building Committee, which includes building a new settlement called “Atarot” in the north of occupied East Jerusalem. However, this settlement will isolate the towns of Kafr Aqab and Qalandia from East Jerusalem, which is an actual implementation of what is known as the “Deal of the Century.” Rafat called on the international community to confront these plans by imposing sanctions on Israel. He also called on the “UNESCO” and the World Heritage Committee to intervene to stop the occupation from the continuous tampering with the occupied city of Jerusalem. To check the news, click here
