Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh called on the new US administration to intervene and help end settlement expansion that seeks to undermine international efforts to preserve the prospects of establishing a Palestinian state. Shtayyeh condemned Israel’s plan to evacuate the Jerusalemite families, for the benefit of Israeli settlers in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. He called on international human rights organizations to intervene and help stop the eviction of Palestinian families from their homes. Shtayyeh reiterated the full commitment of the State of Palestine to cooperate with the International Criminal Court in the investigation of Israeli crimes. For  further details, click here
