The Czech Republic has submitted a legal memorandum to the International Criminal Court regarding the investigation of crimes committed in the Palestinian territories.
In the memorandum, the Czech Republic raised questions about whether Palestine is considered as a state or not, and how Palestine obtained the membership of the court. Moreover, it discussed the issue of the separation of the criminal judicial authority in the Palestinian territories. According to the memorandum, the Czechs believe that there are question marks about obtaining Palestine the membership of the court and that it has not fulfilled the criteria of the state for its loss of sovereignty. It is worth noting that other legal memorandums were submitted to refute this claim, including the interventions of Professor John Quigley. To check the memorandum, click here
