On January 23, 2020, the Independent Commission for Human Rights held a seminar on the role of civil society organizations in preparing reports about human rights conventions and treaties.
Representatives of civil society organizations and the Human Rights Officer at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Gaza Strip participated in the seminar.
The seminar aimed to enhance the role of civil society in discussing the preparation of reports of human rights agreements, especially after the State of Palestine acceded to a number of international human rights treaties and agreements, in the context of the process of preparing official reports for submission to the United Nations treaty bodies.
