The Israeli government decided to finance providing drones to settlers in the West Bank, to monitor what it describes as unauthorized Palestinian construction in “C” areas that are entirely under Israeli occupation. Haaretz newspaper revealed that the Settlement Affairs Ministry published criteria for regional councils in the West Bank to apply for financial support to buy drones, establish and operate patrol units that will monitor “unauthorized” Palestinian construction in the West Bank’s Area “C,” which is under full Israeli control.
