The Israeli Supreme Court has called on the Israeli government responsible for the airborne train to provide clarifications on the project, which will be built in the Old City of Jerusalem. Palestinian activists and legal professionals have indicated that the project is not considered a tourism project and would not serve the people of Silwan and Old Jerusalem, but rather it would serve the settlement presence in the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood, as well as facilitate access to the centers of the Elad Association. They also stressed that the project would harm the old town, its history, and the general landscape in the area, in addition to the fact that it would lead to the confiscation of land owned by Palestinians and the demolition of their homes. To check the news, click here
