The Supreme Court in Israel rejected the petition to hold another hearing regarding the decision of not demolishing the house of the Palestinian Nazmi Abu Bakr (49 years old), who killed the Israeli soldier Amit Ben Yigal while he was in the village of Ya’bad, southwest of the city of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, in May 2020. The President of the Supreme Court, Judge Esther Hayut, said, “For the legal reasons stipulated in the decision, it was decided not to hold another hearing.” As the judge considered in her decision that the cancellation of the demolition order came because “Abu Bakr’s wife and children have no relationship with the perpetrator’s actions.” To check the news, click here
