In a meeting with a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hanan Ashrawi, Masayuki Magoshi, the Japanese ambassador to Palestine, affirmed his country’s support for the rights of the Palestinian people and referred to the array of development and economic projects that the Japanese government is working to implement in the Palestinian territories, including support for UNRWA and the employment of Palestinian refugees (UNRWA). During the meeting, the two sides discussed the activities of Israel, the occupying power, and its violations, including the continued deepening of settlements, the regulation of annexation, the exploitation of Palestinian lands and services, including tax revenues, and the restriction of Palestinians movement in light of the spread of the epidemic virus.
