The Jordan Press Association (JPA) and Palestinian Journalist Union agreed on an action plan to expose the crimes of Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people. The JPA acting president, Yanal Al Barmawi, said that the association had placed all its capabilities at the disposal of the Palestinian Journalist Union, in support of it in the face of the attacks it has been subjected to. He stressed the importance of strengthening the necessary protection frameworks for Palestinian journalists and called on the Federation of Arab Journalists to launch a fund to support the families of the martyrs of journalists and journalists who suffer injuries from the occupation, stressing Jordan’s firm stance towards the Palestinian cause. Al Barmawi noted the continuing coordination with the Palestinian Journalist Union to form a specialized legal team to file lawsuits against the Israeli occupation before international courts. He further added that the Israeli occupation considers media institutions and journalists as enemies, for their role in exposing Israeli crimes to the world. For further details, click here
