The Organization of Islamic Cooperation praised the international position in support of the call of the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, to hold an international peace conference, before the UN Security Council, with the participation of the International Quartet, and all concerned parties, to implement the vision of the two-state solution following international law, United Nations resolutions and agreed upon references, leading to an end to the occupation And the establishment of an independent, fully sovereign Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. The Islamic group participated in a speech on behalf of the organization in the open session held by the Security Council, to discuss President Abbas’s call for an international peace conference, and joined the UN Security Council member states that supported and supported his sovereignty’s call.
