The head of the Human Rights and Civil Society Department, Ahmed Al-Tamimi, called on all international institutions, especially human rights institutions, to immediately intervene and move in order to protect the Palestinian citizens of Israel in the face of the racist attack they are exposed to through the war waged by the occupation’s government against them. Al-Tamimi said: “The occupation government, through the Minister of Internal Security and the Inspector General of the Police, announced a wide and comprehensive campaign that has so far detained 1550 Palestinian men and women from inside the country. Thousands of police and security personnel have been recruited for this, in a retaliatory move against the Palestinians as a result of their solidarity against the violations in occupied Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the aggression on the Gaza Strip.” For further details, click here
