The head of the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees, Qadri Abu Baker, called on the international community, with all its institutions, to take immediate action to end the racist and retaliatory attack launched by the Israeli police against the Palestinians inside the territories of 1948. Abu Baker considered that the Palestinians citizens of Israel are exposed to a new phase of ethnic cleansing and forced deportation. He indicated that the occupation forces launched a frenzied and unprecedented campaign of arrests inside the 1948 territories, affecting large numbers of citizens, due to their participation in the protest against the systematic Israeli policy of oppressing Palestinians, namely what is happening in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem, where a plan to expel Palestinians from their homes takes place.
