The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the position of Israel, as well as the positions of some state parties to the Rome Statute, including Germany, Canada, Australia, Austria and Brazil, on the decision of the Pre-Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court. The ministry stressed that such positions aimed at politicizing the work of the court, which would eventually impede the process of accountability and justice for victims and threaten peace in the region.
