The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates considered the US administration’s decision to officially label settlement goods as made in Israel “a war crime, and a violation of all international laws and conventions.” The Foreign Ministry affirmed that this is a legal and moral decline to launder settlement goods and an attempt to legitimize the theft of Palestinian land and its products. The Foreign Ministry called on the countries of the international community to express their positions rejecting the labeling and laundering of settlement goods, as they are a clear violation of the rules of international law.
