The Palestinian Monetary Authority has published a statement about the Israeli occupation authorities’ amendment of a military order to criminalize the opening and management of accounts by banks regarding the rights of prisoner’s families and detainees unfairly while threatening to confiscate funds for these accounts. In its statement, the Monetary Authority stressed that the rights of the families of the prisoners and the released prisoners are reserved with the banks, and coordination will take place to ensure that prisoners continue to receive their entitlements.
