The Public Prosecutor’s Office in the Gaza Strip announced that a training program targeting Gaza’s police force will address the promotion of human rights and the fight against torture. The program will be held in early April over a three-day period, where 520 police personnel will be participating. The program aims to educate them about human rights and the maqased (or purposes) of Islamic law and raise the level of awareness about respecting human rights. To check the news, click here.
