The Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Riyad Al-Maliki, met with the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Fatou Bensouda, within the framework of pursuing work and cooperation with the Court and the Office of the Prosecutor, after opening a criminal investigation into the situation in Palestine. During his meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the importance of expediting the investigation of crimes committed in the land of the State of Palestine in a manner that guarantees justice for the victims and their families of the Palestinian people. He expressed the State of Palestine’s support for the work of the ICC and the Prosecutor General in facing the threats they are exposed to.
