The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights “Adalah” in Israel has condemned the extension of the citizenship Law of 2003 by the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. Adalah criticized the law, which prevents Palestinians from entering Israel for the purposes of family reunification, is a racist violation of fundamental constitutional rights – the right to equality and the right to a family.
