The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories denounced “B’Tselem” in its report of the training exercises conducted by the Israeli military in teacher housing northwest of Nablus, in September 2019 and April 2020. The center said that the al-‘Ofoq Teachers Housing Association has started construction of a housing project northwest of Nablus, on an area of 80 dunums, is located in the lands of Zawata, Ijinsinya, and a-Naqurah. The al-‘Ofoq complex includes 174 single-family two-story residencies designed for teachers at government schools. The B’Tselem field researcher investigated the incidents of training conducted by the army on the land of the housing project, as well as the incidents of a violent storming of houses in April this year under the pretext of searching for wanted persons.
