The Israeli occupation forces demolished a small Bedouin village in the Jordan Valley, “Khirbet Hamsa” in the West Bank near the city of Tubas, which led to the displacement of about 73 Palestinians – among them 41 children. Khirbet Hamsa is one of 38 Bedouin communities on lands that Israel says are designated for training the Israeli army. The Coordination Unit for the Israeli Government’s Activities in the Territories (COGAT) said that the army demolished buildings that were illegally built on an IDF firing range. The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories said in a statement: “The supervision unit in the Civil Administration carried out an “enforcement activity” had been carried out by Israeli forces against seven tents and eight pens which were illegally constructed, in a firing range located in the Jordan Valley.” To check the news, click here
