The Israeli Supreme Court rejected the petition submitted by the Commission of Detainees’ Affairs, through its legal staff, to appeal the administrative detention decision of hunger-striking sibling prisoners Mahmoud and Kayed al-Fasfous from the town of Dura, Hebron. The two brothers have been on a hunger strike for the 20th consecutive day, protesting their administrative detention. The Commission expressed its concern for the lives of the two prisoners, holding the occupation authorities fully responsible for their fate, especially since the administration of the occupation prisons does not stop imposing punitive measures against them to discourage them from continuing their strike.
