The Head of the Refugee Affairs Department of the PLO, Ahmed Abu Huli, welcomed the decision of UNRWA to increase the value of the cash assistance provided to Palestinian refugees in Syria, which came in response to the request of the Refugee Affairs Department to match the price hike. Al-Huli added that the uplifting of the cash assistance is an important step that has positive repercussions on the lives of Palestinian refugees in the Syrian camps.
