Human Rights Watch said that the Israel Defense Forces carried out attacks that ‘appear to amount to war crimes’ during its 11-day war in May against Hamas in Gaza. The International Organization for Human Rights issued its conclusions after investigating three Israeli air strikes that it said killed 62 Palestinian civilians. The statement added that “there were no clear military targets in the vicinity of the attacks.” The report also accused the Palestinian factions of committing clear war crimes by firing more than 4,000 unguided rockets and mortars at Israeli population centers. He said such attacks violated “the prohibition against deliberate or indiscriminate attacks against civilians.” For further details, click here
