In response to the unjustified attack on the event it co-organized in the Canadian Parliament (See, for example, here, here, here and here), Law for Palestine has issued the following statement:

We are deeply concerned about the unjustifiable attack on our event in the Canadian Parliament, focused on Canada’s responsibility towards Palestine under international law.
Rejection of open legal debate, false accusations, and smear campaigns raise concerns for free and democratic societies.
Palestine’s cause and Palestinians’ right to self-determination are rooted in intenrational law and human rights. States bear obligatory duties to uphold this right to maintain a world free from colonialism, apartheid, oppression and aggression.
Campaign instigators must grasp these vital issues.
