In the book published by Steven Zipperstein, a Professor in Jewish Culture and History, entitled “Law and the Arab–Israeli Conflict: The Trials of Palestine”, he talked about the use of law by Arabs, Jews, and British in Mandatory Palestine. The author claims that during the British Mandate for Palestine, Arabs and Jews repeatedly used the law to gain leverage, influence the international opinion, and achieve political goals. The research relies almost entirely on primary source documents, including transcripts of the public and secret testimony before the Shaw, Lofgren, and Peel Commissions, diaries, letters, government files, and other original sources. Moreover, the author attempts to address the historical and legal origins of the most prominent legal arguments regarding the conflict in this period of time.To check the news, click here
