The Palestinian Ministry of Education called for protecting the rights of Palestinian children subjected to Israeli ongoing violations, and to ensure their access to education despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ministry stated that after a year has passed since COVID-19 started, the burdens have multiplied in light of the Israeli occupation policies against children, in contravention of their rights under international law, notably the International Convention on the Rights of the Child.
