The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the decision by the Beka’ot Council of Settlements in the northern Jordan Valley to distribute notices of demolition, removal and destruction of establishments belonging to Palestinian citizens in the northern Jordan Valley, in a first of its kind. The Ministry considered such decisions a clear violation of international law and international legitimacy, bearing in mind that the existence of settlements in itself is a grave breach of international law.
