The Palestinian Prisoners club in Ramallah organized a specialised workshop on the systematic policy of administrative detention by the Israeli occupation, and the possibilities of developing a plan and a clear vision to confront it. A group of human rights organizations specialized in prisoners’ affairs, and other human rights organizations and lawyers, participated in the workshop, in addition to a number of former prisoners who carried out hunger strikes against the policy of administrative detention. The participants collectively agreed on the importance of boycotting the Israeli military courts, as it is the focal point for confronting the policy of administrative detention. Eventually, they agreed to work on developing a national document, which would later be placed before the official and organizational frameworks and prisoners for approval.
