Part-Time Internship: Law for Palestine is looking for English – Arabic (and vice versa) professional translator (Remotely)
Responsibilities:
- Translating materials from English to Arabic and vice versa (concept briefs, reports, newsletters, agendas, presentations, etc…).
- Translating and editing research papers and articles.
- Proofreading, reviewing and editing previously translated documents when necessary.
- Translating legal materials from the official record of the International Criminal Court (Palestine case) from English to Arabic.
- Researching legal and technical phraseology to find the correct translation.
- Providing grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated texts.
Required experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Literature, Linguistics or any other related field.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic, especially in writing skills.
- 1+ years of professional experience in translation.
- Very good research skills and computer literacy.
Successful Candidates:
- Must be willing to work remotely (10 – 15 hours per week) within Law for Palestine translation team on a 6-months internship contract (with the possibility of extension);
- Must sign a confidentiality agreement with Law for Palestine.

Currently, there are 50 qualified interns from around the world working with the organization on a voluntary basis.
