The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned Israel’s destruction of what the ministry described as the destruction of Khirbet Hamsa al-Fawqa in the northern Jordan Valley, which led to the displacement of 73 of its residents, including children, women, the elderly, and the sick people. The Ministry considered this a “complex crime” according to international law and described it as a “crime of ethnic cleansing” that reflects the extent of the expansionist colonial targeting of the occupied Palestinian Jordan Valley. Additionally, the Ministry called on the international community to take effective decisions and practical measures to impose sanctions on the occupation, As well, the ICC demanded to open an investigation to hold the Israeli war criminals accountable.
