Representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Dr. Ibrahim Khreisheh, said that consultations are underway with ambassadors from the European Union, Arab and Islamic organizations and Non-Aligned Countries to discuss the possibility of holding a meeting or a special session of the Human Rights Council on the Israeli occupation’s attacks in occupied Jerusalem. Khreisheh called on states signatory to the Geneva Conventions to adopt mechanisms forcing Israel to respect freedom of worship in Jerusalem. For further details, click here
