The researcher, Lobna Ma’amri, published a new study in the journal of legal and social studies, Zian Ashour University in Algeria, the first volume of 2021, entitled: “The crime of genocide and crimes against humanity committed against the Palestinians in light of the Rome Statute.” This study aims to define the crimes of genocide and crimes against humanity and the acts listed by international criminal law under this name, and to contribute to enumerating the crimes of the Israeli occupation in Palestine. The researcher came up with several recommendations, the most important of which was a request from the UN Security Council to establish a temporary special court similar to the former Yugoslavia court and the Hariri court, to open an investigation into Israeli crimes against the Palestinians.
