A member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Tayseer Khaled, welcomed the response of Kuwaiti political and societal forces to US President Donald Trump’s statements that the State of Kuwait is eager to normalize with Israel. He added that the response of the Kuwaiti political and societal forces came quickly, as they confirmed through a joint statement that the State of Kuwait refuses to deny its original values and constants in support of the Arab Palestinian right since the outbreak of the Arab-Zionist conflict through all stages and that Kuwait will not forget what the Palestinian people went through and what Palestinian families suffered from the martyrdom, capture, or wounding of their children. He also added that these forces requested the Foreign Ministry to issue a clarification denying this rejected claim altogether, and the National Assembly to give the law to criminalize normalization with the Zionist entity the urgency to protect Kuwait from blackmail and pressures expected from the USA administration, which has employed itself as an agent for Israeli interests in the region and the world.
