The (Journalists for Freedom) initiative condemned the Israeli authorities’ decision to renew the ban on Palestine TV from media coverage in occupied Jerusalem. It added that this arbitrary measure cannot be separated from the larger plan that aims to establish a fait accompli situation in Jerusalem, especially that it is accompanied by a series of media restrictions, the most recent of which is the attack on Al-Jazeera correspondent Guevara Al-Badri. They stressed that Israel’s restrictions on freedom of journalism in Jerusalem is a flagrant violation of international law, calling on the relevant international bodies to intensify pressure to allow all media outlets to operate freely in all the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
