The Palestinian Authority called for an international investigation into the “execution crime” of the Israeli occupation of the 18-year-old Palestinian man, Amer Sanouber. This came in a statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in which it condemned “the murder and execution of the young man after assaulting, abusing and beating him with rifle butts.” In the statement, the ministry called on the international community and the international and human rights organizations concerned with condemning the crime, and “forming an international investigation committee to find out its details and hold the perpetrators accountable.” The ministry called on the International Criminal Court “to assume its legal and moral responsibilities towards the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.” She said: What happened with young Sanouber underscores the urgent need to provide international protection for the Palestinians.
