The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the continuous and escalating attacks of Israeli settlers against the Palestinian people, their lands, and property, including the occupied East Jerusalem. According to the ministry statement, the most recent one was “ Chasing sheepherders in the northern Jordan valleys by the settlers’ armed militias, and attacking one of the herders which result in injuring his head”. It also strongly condemned “Attacking citizens’ lands by the settlers and their gangs from the settlements of Revava, west of Salfit, and destroying several olive seedlings and uprooting them near the village of Haris.” The ministry considered these attacks fall within the framework of the fierce and continuous attack that is administered and supervised by the Israeli occupation forces. Also, It called on the Security Council to break the silence toward these crimes, assume its political, legal, and moral responsibilities, and take the necessary measures to exert pressure on the occupying power to stop settler attacks and violations that are carried out with the protection, and support of the occupation army.
