The Palestinian National Council called for urgent and rapid intervention to save the life of the prisoner Maher Abdul-Latif Hassan Al-Akhras, who faces extremely dangerous health conditions, as the prisoner has been on hunger strike for 74 consecutive days, as an expression of his rejection and protest against the policy of administrative detention. In its statement, the Council warned of the danger of death that threatens the prisoner’s life, and the Council said that there are 350 administrative detainees in the occupation prisons, referring to the occupation’s policy of collective punishment.
