The Palestinian National Council (PNC) called on the parliaments of the Czech Republic and Kosovo to put pressure on their governments to withdraw from opening embassy offices in occupied East Jerusalem. The PNC indicated that this illegal step will not change anything in the legal and historical status of occupied Jerusalem. The PNC called the move an explicit recognition of Israel’s illegal annexation of the occupied city of Jerusalem, and a unilateral step that requires accountability and punishment under international law.
