The Israeli Supreme Court rejected a petition by the prisoner Ghadanfar Abu Atwan concerning the abolition of his administrative detention, and attorney Ashraf Abu Sneina explained that the session was held in the presence of the prisoner Abu Atwan, who confirmed his intention to continue the hunger strike. He is also boycotting the medical examination and treatment and is still detained in the Ramle Clinic prison. His health condition is constantly deteriorating; however, this is the second decision in which the occupation courts reject the petition to end his administrative detention. The Prisoners Forum confirmed that the occupation courts, and in all cases of prisoners striking against their administrative detention, created pretexts to apply such detention, and imposed rules over the past years to abuse them. The forum held the Israeli occupation prisons administration fully responsible for the fate of prisoner Abu Atwan, who continues his open strike for the 37th consecutive day in refusal of his administrative detention and is facing systematic abuse by jailers in the Ramle Clinic Prison, where he stays.
