29.11.2023 || A global group of genocide experts have written a letter to Professor Dame Sally Mapstone, the Principal and Vice-Chancellor of The University of St Andrews to express profound concern with the public statement issued by professor Professor Mapstone criticising Rector Stella Maris for her message to St Andrew’s students in which she calls for a ceasefire in Gaza.

The letter calls on Professor Dame Sally Mapstone to rescind their statement and issue an apology to Stella Maris alongside a clearer commitment to academic freedom and freedom of expression.
